Samsung Note 20 Overheating. My phone started heating up since a week ago , a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G (the Exynos variant). I haven't paid it much attention and blamed it in the weather, since I live in a tropical country . But i got quite concerned that the problem persisted even when the weather cooled considerably .
19-09-2021 05:43 PM in. I was on Vodafone. On 4g LTE the watch would overheat within 45 seconds of making / receiving a call. If I put the watch into 3g only mode and switched always on display off. I could make /receive a call for 8 to 10 mins before it would overheat. 2 Likes.
I purchased a Samsung galaxy active watch about 14 months ago and it now has the common overheating message appearing. I have tried the suggested resolutions numerous times with no success watch was manufactured 2019-11-12. How do I get this resolved ? Really disappointed, my first smart watch and it has last a little over a year.
It's not. This is just a sub-reddit that has NOTHING to offer you for your overheating problems. People here try to give them suggestions and try to help but at the end of the day, it's not Google's advice. It's random advice that doesn't do anything but aggravate the person more. It get's toxic more often than not.
Hopefully this isn't normal function! UPDATE: TMobile sent me a new watch, and it had the same issue. Their tech support (always friendly) said they're hearing from Samsung that the issue is the battery overheating when the LTE is activated and that a software update is on the way. Of course, she said there's no way to determine when the update
1 year ago. I'm having an overheating issue with my Watch4 LTE. Watch is with its phone, almost the entire time. I've gone through and turned off wifi, sounds, vibrations, health monitoring features, what notifications I receive etc but this thing keeps overheating. 3x today alone.
Honestly, not being able to make payments using Gpay on the watch (see another post on this matter), together with the overheating issue when using the watch in standalone mode, without the phone, these make the Watch 4 LTE edition watch to look more like a smartfit bracelet, not as a smartwatch as has been currently labeled.
To start, it is usually indicative a problem. Beyond that, overheating a tiny lithium power cell will quickly have an impact on battery health. I know they are in short supply, but I would want a replacement. Thanks. I did chat w apple support so at the least the problem is logged. It seems to be absolutely ok since.
